the major label people want your money attention and time, and they dont' want you to focus on people like myself. they hire people to defame people like myself.
like comments " I am growing tired of Marissa because she isn't a celebrity" that was most likely posted by someone from a major corporation.
these people make sure the negativity is posted about people who they think they want to become famous or popular. they want Jessica simpson to be popular even though she isn't writing music.
and John Mayor, even though he isn't jimmy page or someone that is unique.
they are ignoring all kinds of people and then go out of their to defame them on the net. they are so threatened by people like myself..and will spend their time monitoring the net to keep their products popular.
they want the music on the radio to be popular, not people like myself.

marissa marchant, Tuesday, 2 August 2005 17:25 (eighteen years ago) link

I meant they don't want certain people to become famous or popular...
and they are very threatened by indie musicians that have more talent then people they promote ..who can't write, sing well or play instruments.
I am not the only one they are defaming on the net...google is being paid to monitor the net...to create images....
and images that are negative about artists ....
and positive images about people who are not artists.

I'm confused. Are you trying to be an artist or a media whore? I mean, are you doing what you do because you want to express yourself, or because you want people to like it and buy it? I'm getting mexed missages.

even if I had the most incredible recordings known to man right now..the corporations are being paid to monitor the net and like they control the media, they are controlling the net and images and impressions...
they are so aware of eveything I say, and will delete and monitor things that they feel are threatening to their agenda.
they are very aware of me, their agenda is to make sure people don't find out that women have alot of talent in composition...
this is about power and domination, and control..the net is about suppressing people it isn't about freedom..the net is being dominated.
I have seen themm delete comments that would have helped a musician or helped promote me...
things that are very positive about me.
they don't want it to get out in the public that music industry doesn't sign talented people ...

The Klan and alQaeda have hate websites that no one seems to be able to stop, but the music industry is dead-set on keep marissa marchant from selling a CD.

Someone thinks she's quite important.

PappaWheelie (PappaWheelie), Tuesday, 2 August 2005 17:40 (eighteen years ago) link

they are purposely not promoting people with talent on the radio ..I mean new people.
and they give money only to people who are not artists..like Jessica simpson and others...
Nothing personal against her..but they have an agenda...
this is all done on purpose, they know they are ignoring new talents..and making sure their message and music doesn't get out in the public...once a corporation is aware of someone who is a threat..they are paid to monitor the google search daily. they see the net as a threat....
they need control...
they want to tell YOU who is cool.
Who is not.
no freedom, or little.
I make a bet if people went really crazy with spreading positive comments about me on every message board imaginable...it wouldn't show up under the Google...
meaning no Matter how many people might have said positive things , I would never know about it, cause it is deleted.
Some people are blacklisted..
Because they have an agenda....
not just to control the media and net..but not to promote artists.

marissa marchant, Tuesday, 2 August 2005 17:40 (eighteen years ago) link

marissa, you should post here more often.
We give compliments to lots of artists that we like and if you like to give compliments too we are a perfect match.

" the music industry is dead-set on keep marissa marchant from selling a $1,000 CD."

No, I think the $1000 is dead set on keeping marissa marchant from selling a $1000 CD. Or is it that the CD is dead-set on it? Oh fuck metaphors; it's the consumer who thinks it's bullshit.

I think The best thread ever?!?

PappaWheelie (PappaWheelie), Tuesday, 2 August 2005 17:44 (eighteen years ago) link

they know that the first thread was just me trying to promote my little self in a sea of negativity...
they didn't feel threatened..but this site..
you have said very positive things...and if you notice only the negaitivity shows up under Google..
they must have my ip...this is kind of sick..I notice when people do say positive things...and no me saying them....The Google Search never allows the positive things to show up under my name ...this is problem..these people are not supportive....
they don't understand why I have insulted some major label artists. well some of them, didn't return my huge compliments...when I have met them ...
or had contact with them, the other reason, is because they are just spiteful.

marissa marchant, Tuesday, 2 August 2005 17:45 (eighteen years ago) link

I was going to actually post a polite reply, but then the conspiracy theories came out and I just couldn't do it. Marissa, you're whining on the internet about how nobody notices you and the world is mean (and is determined to stifle your artistic vision via control of the internet). Think about this for a long time.

Courtney Love - Mono (new single)

see this thread this comes up under google..and all the positive comments made by mark grout do not..
that is why I am always saying these things like I am wonderful and so forth...because these people have me on a blacklist...they are that deceitful. and spiteful.

the record industry ..is owned by major corporations who have power hungry like Hitler..and they want to make sure the certain artists are not exposed to the public...
they want money and lots of it...and that is all they want. no soul.

that link I just posted is very negative when you look under google..they go out of their way to find the negativity and then make sure it pops up constantly under google and they delete comments that I made to other artists about how I love them and what not. there are many many times that I have signed guestbooks of artists and said positive things...it hardly shows up at all.

i will never use google again :-(((

PappaWheelie (PappaWheelie), Tuesday, 2 August 2005 17:55 (eighteen years ago) link

This is kind of weird. I was reading through this thread and started to notice something about Ms. Marchant's prose stylings that was kinda familiar. Google provided a bunch of other places where her name had come up, either in bizarrely located self promotion (like Vegetarian or Holistic medicine message boards) or Blog comment spam using assumed names as her own fans. The writing was the same throughout, especially the almost total lack of capitalization and mid sentance paragraph breaks).

So now I gotta ask: Marissa, are you also the person(s) who was going off on I*a and H*lly from NdG a few months back?

I prefer not to, Tuesday, 2 August 2005 18:00 (eighteen years ago) link

some of you might think I am imagining things..but I would like you to try it...try making lots of positive comments about my music on different message boards and it won't show...
Harmony Central ..the people there said wonderful things about me,
How come that doesnt' show up?
a guy from San Fransicao posted a great article about me, and that doesnt' show up....
they just make it look like they are not doing this...by leaving a few good comments first..just to cover their tracks...
If you people by the hundreds when out of your way to post positive comments on every board that posted negative...months later..the negative comments would only be there.
No matter how many positive comments people make..which is more then two...none of it shows up under google search..only places where I complimented myself.
This is not good. I shouldn't be complimenting myself.
