wow, i had no idea! also this:

Also in 1979, Moore (then 29) met 16-year-old Demi Guynes at a nightclub. Almost immediately, despite Moore's existing marriage, the two became a couple. The two moved in together while Guynes was still 16, and married a few months later in February, after Moore's divorce from Lucy was finalized and Guynes was 17

yeah, and when you said they were " a vibe" that's exactly the sorta vibe i was getting. yikes.

despite Moore's existing marriage, is making me lol. Like if you're the kind that is good with a 16 yo I don't think the marriage is going to be much of an ethical concern.

Guynes became Demi Moore, and she continues to use that name.

People who have written their own Wikipedia entry

In the late 1990s and into the 2000s, Bacon performed with his Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award-winning brother, Kevin, in a duo ensemble, called The Bacon Brothers, which he formed.

I've got my own hot poop to do...

My friend was showing me pics of his dad’s LP collection and he has this extremely rare 70’s California filth-rock record. Hot Poop Does Their Own Stuff. Insane! Only 500 ever made pic.twitter.com/wbmkp4A1BS

Only 500 people ever bought the Hot Poop record, but . . . OK, 200 people, but you know . . . Ah, who am I trying to kid, only 35 of these were sold, all to their friends/family, and they didn't go on to do anything of note.

Only 500 people ever bought the Hot Poop record, but . . . Every one of them went on to poop.

we only steal from the greatest books (PBKR), Monday, 18 April 2022 11:21 (two years ago) link

The album cover was my concept. I'm surprised that more people don't get the front cover. It seems rather simple. Hot poop, poop also meaning crap. So Larry's taking a crap, it's being carried over to the others by Jim, Lisa is heating it up (cooking it) in a spoon, I'm shooting it up (doing it) and Bruce is passed out. Hot Poop, doing their own stuff (shit). The photograph was taken in an empty building in Isla Vista. The building actually had no front on it but the photographer drew in the front window shadow to give the allusion that it was a complete building with four sides. The back cover concept I came up with in it's entirety. I wanted us standing in a field of donkeys (I get donkeys and mules mixed up. I said a field of donkeys but I meant a field of mules) with two pictures, one clothed and the other with switched genitalia. In one more amazing Hot Poop moment I stumbled on a field of donkeys/mules almost the second I came up with the idea. We got the photographer and drove out there. The mules were nice enough to crowd around us for the pictures. As we were wrapping it up a helicopter started flying over as I think the land belonged to Union Oil.

Doctor Casino, Monday, 18 April 2022 14:02 (two years ago) link

Review on RYM:

Hot Poop Does Their Own Stuff. Why? 'Cause nobody else would dare! This private pressing is so brain numbingly strange that it's almost impossible not to like it! Frenzied falsetto vocals, omnipresent fuzz, and deranged subject matter (with such songs as "Wing Wang", "Screamin'", "I Always Play With My Food", and the eerie "My Baby's Dead") make for an album that cannot be comprehended by a sober mind! This is what happens when hippies forsake LSD for nitrous oxide!

Chappies banging dustbin lids together (President Keyes), Tuesday, 26 April 2022 23:50 (two years ago) link

This shows how the ideal horrible album title had changed from the 70s to the 90s.

Halfway there but for you, Wednesday, 27 April 2022 00:36 (two years ago) link

I've been tempted to start a "Horrible '90s album titles like Fush Yu Mang" thread, but enough of that gets covered here too.

Precious, Grace, Hill & Beard LTD. (C. Grisso/McCain), Wednesday, 27 April 2022 00:49 (two years ago) link

In the 80s, no-one wanted to be silly so they gave albums horrible titles like Journeys to Glory.

Halfway there but for you, Wednesday, 27 April 2022 00:51 (two years ago) link

The covers of "Stunt," "Born on a Pirate Ship" and "Maroon" aren't bad. The covers of "Gordon" and "Silverball," on the other hand, are dreadful.

immodesty blaise (jimbeaux), Wednesday, 27 April 2022 00:53 (two years ago) link

I beg to differ. Stunt is especially ugly in that 90s alterna way
