I need to find some decent HS photos. My friend L has all our yearbooks in London and we looked a few weeks ago. I had forgotten:

*Yearbook article about me being offered a book deal, HORRIFIC photo NOT publishing.
*Yearbook article about stylish people on campus complete with L's friend, some baby punk, writing some hissyfit about WHY DID THEY PICK HER WAHH WAHHH WAHH SHE TOLD ME I WAS A POSEUR WHEN I WORE MY DK'S T-SHIRT next to massive photo of me in a sweater I didn't like.

xp - I went to nerd camp once - I figured I'd fail out of HS Chemistry if I took it at my school because I'd not show up to class one too many times. CTY allowed me to get the ordeal over with in a few weeks.

yeah, that's why i thought i would mention that she is my mother. it's an unfortunate outfit. this was the period when she was ordering from a lot of catalogs and felt compelled to wear something once she bought it. she is/was more attractive than that cantaloupe suit suggests, i assure you.

this was the look i had when people started calling me data, like from TNG.

lol, okay, i was hoping you would take that in good humor, because it wasn't meant to offend. my mother had some terrible outfits from that time period, too.

also, i like yr look. data was awesome.

my mom was a teacher at my high school -- on the uncharitability scale, "looks like a carrot" ranks pretty mild
