The math on this post is boggling my mind right now. A 57 year old in 2009 would have been 18 in... 1970.

i think we should give Fer Ark the benefit of the doubt here. they were 18 in 1984, which would have made them 43 in 2009, when they posted that message. and they were thinking "i love just the same as a sprightly 57 year old would!", looking forward with envy to how they imagined they would feel about it in 2023. you're almost there Fer Ark, and we look forward to your check-in when the time comes

You know, someone who does these all-encapsulating polls should do one with Husker Du and all the offshoot projects (Hart solo, Nova Mob, Mould solo, Sugar, and the other stuff Bob did, the Parmesan Crusted Halibut at Greg Norton's restaurant, etc.) I would be happy to participate.
