I mean, yeah, I hope it’s not him! tbh I am a little surprised that a massive, public database of images like the IMDB isn't already in the training data for whatever facial recognition software the FBI has access to. I'm also not sure you need to be flagged as a POI to be identified by such software, though I admittedly have zero clue how the FBI uses it.

It's funny watching white dudes go "oh I guess I don't have to be as scared of facial recognition software as I thought" when the primary problems with it have always been that it gives lots of false positives and the number increases the darker your skin, meaning that you guys were never really in danger from it to begin with unless you were actually committing crimes recorded on camera.

I guess pointing out the privilege in your perspective could be interpreted as defending the FBI if you really want it to

Yeah, I'd actually realized recently both that Mr. Show has aged well relative to a lot of decades-old comedy stuff that seems excessively regressive as time goes by and that the cast has by and large turned out okay, as well. Which I was contrasting against the roughly contemporaneous NewsRadio, which I still enjoy but which requires me to look past the presence of Rogan and Dick and the tragic absence of Hartman.

Oh god, imagine if only we could have made some cosmic trade by sacrificing the careers of Rogan and Dick for another two decades of Hartman.

Last time I watched, Mr Show had aged almost astonishingly well
