I sometimes make lists of names for my future dog. LOL how sad is that?

Why don't you get a dog, Jerrica?
A lot of reasons really but hopefully I'll be able to get one within the next year or so. :-)
But yeah, Conet Project - a+ name for dog.

Got this SMS message earlier. Apparently the parents finally broke down after 5 dog-less years in Knoxville and got a puppy.
Apparently my dad hasn't named her yet. Our suggestions of "Petunia" and "Daisy" were rejected, and Mom refused to let him name it "Serafina."

At nearly 3, my parents' giant schnauzer is pushing it as a "puppy," but he's cute anyway.

Giant Schnauzer is one dog on my short list.

I've always been pro-shelter dog, but an Olde English Bulldogge might win me over if I ever get a puppy.

Puppy himself looks like the right size for localized warming...a self-regulating little hot water bottle.

I met this big fluffy pumpkin-pie colored dog the other day that could raise one eyebrow. It was so hilarious! I wish I had a photo. She looked skeptical and confused at the same time. It was great.

Do we have an opinion on this guy? Barbets are French water dogs; they are kinda cousins with poodles who are basically German water dogs.
