Evidence about 'planting' question? Because that seem to have happened, no? Obviously the significance depends on your political view (I come from a system with institutionalized planted questions, I don't see the problem), but did he not ask the Huffington Post to ask a question? But to say that there is no evidence of planting questions (which is an ideologically based spin on events, of course) is not true. Anyway, I was just wondering if I had misunderstood the cartoon/objection, but it seems it was in relation to that question.

Ah ok. I guess the reason I didn't get it was that my understanding of that first meeting was generally just that Kruschev was belligerent and hostile, not that he pulled off some sort of diplomatic coup or made kennedy look stupid.
