54. "Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps Please...." - Splodgnessabounds.
Band leader Max Splodge always insisted that the correct title of this song was the entire lyric - i.e. (presumably):
"Two pints of lager and a packet of crisps, please.
Two pints of lager and a packet of crisps, please.
I'll have two pints of lager and a packet of crisps, please.
I'll have some pickled onions,
And a little bit of cheese, please.
Thank you.
Two pints of lager and a packet of crisps, please.
Eh. Two pints of lager and a packet of crisps, please.
Two pints of lager and a packet of crisps, please.
And I've got all the right money
And all that, please.
Thank you.
Oi! Two pints of lager and a packet of crisps, please.
Ay! Two pints of lager and a packet of crisps, please.
Two pints of lager and a packet of crisps, please.
I've been here half hour
And I'm getting very thirsty!
Two pints of lager and a packet of crisps, please.
Over here!
Oi! Two pints of lager and a packet of crisps, please.
Two pints of lager and a packet of crisps, please.
Why won't you serve me?
Two pints of lager and a packet of crisps, please.
Two pints of lager and a packet of crisps, please.
Two pints of lager—
Listen, I'm getting impatient, John!
Two pints of lager and a packet of crisps.
Two pints of lager and a packet of fff crisps.
Two pints of lager and a packet of
(Time, gentlemen, please!)
And a packet of crisps.
Oh. Ooh.".
However he was eventually - and extremely reluctantly - persuaded by the band's record company that he had to allow them to abbreviate this to simply "Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps Please...." for the purposes of the single release because they said they couldn't actually fit the full title onto the labels for the record.
True.

SOMEBODY doesn't like this thread..... ... enough to revive it after two years!
34. Donna Summer, "Love to Love You Baby" (OK, so there's an "ohhh" in there as well)
Incorrect. If "la la"s are acceptable, substitute "Here Comes a Headache" - damn I can't remember who it's by! Help please?
