German: Kinderzimmer Productions, Funf Sterne Deluxe, Fettes Brot.
Portuguese (Portugal): Sam The Kid.
Portuguese (Brazil): Gabriel O Pensador, preferably the early stuff.
All of these might sound crap to you if you don't understand the language(s)- certainly my Portuguese friends weren't amused in the slightest when the version of MTV that we got on cable turned out to be a German one broadcasting tons and tons of German Hip-Hop (currently we get MTV Israel- boy, do they love their Vines and Las Ketchup. They also make odd top10 countdowns, including "best Australians" which gave me the absurd pleasure of seeing Nick Cave & The Bad Seed's "Fifteen Feet Of Pure White Snow" on MTV!)

Scha Dara Parr (aka SDP) - guested on De La Soul's Buhloone Mindstate, friends with De la & the Beastie Boys. Worked with/Been remixed by Diamond D, Prince Paul, DJ Premier, Cornelius, and many others.
Tha Blue Herb - These would be the Japanese rap group DJ Krush included in the Code 4109 mix.

I have a tape of some hip-hop group from Mali that raps in English (sometimes), French (sometimes), and what-sounds-like Swahili (sometimes)...anybody have a clue what these guys are called?

Bisso Na Bisso from Congo via Paris are prety good as well. I like what i've heard by Sultana, a female Turkish MC, a snatch of one of her songs can be heard at www.meta4world.cdinfo/html
More recently I've been enjoying ojos de brujos a flamenco/hiphop group out of Barcelona. More as i think of them

Aargh...they were abysmal. Spawned a whole generation of terrible, terrible rock/rap combos (I'm still trying to cope with the very existence of Rage Agaisnt The Machine). Though I did see Rude Boy at a Motorhead gig recently, I guess he's not all evil.

Finding Skriptonit's Stil oddly compelling when it gets going.

I don't hate Yung Trappa either, though i do think if you're going to call yourself Yung Trappa you probably need to have a look stronger than '15-year old Ed Byrne'.

Rap Monster (Korea) is legit good, though.
