McGregor not embarrassing himself was reasonably impressive. Re: different sports comparisons, Messi scoring 12 on Lebron in a game of 21 would be pretty badass.

The UFC is not fucked, sadly, assuming McGregor doesn't retire. He acquitted himself well enough that it doesn't damage his brand, certainly less than the Diaz loss.

The worst thing about all this is that none of it has been of an acceptable standard
