A statement condemning the assault of reporters could come back to haunt you once you eventually get around to assaulting a reporter yourself.

When reporters asked Trump, as he sat for cameras with Macron before their lunch, whether he wanted to say anything about British intelligence sharing, Trump said only, “Thank you.” Asked if his fired national security adviser, Michael Flynn, should cooperate with FBI and congressional investigations on collusion with Russia, Trump stared at the source of the question and again said, “Thank you,” as the press was hustled out of the room.

I think the guy he shoved aside rightly expected it to be a chummy hello sort of thing but no eye contact + that cartoony egotistical nose-up-jacket-fix move confirms it's just him being the biggest jackass ever.

But when his base gets cut off in traffic by some douchebag with slicked back hair in a BMW zipping around like a maniac and flipping people off... in the past maybe they were pissed and disgusted but in Trump's America are they filled with a comforting warmness because it reminds them of papa Donny or is the sensation just them pissing themselves because they're such fucking idiots?

Four things are all true: a) there are plenty of people who will applaud Gianforte for punching out a reporter b) 100% of those people were voting for Gianforte anyway c) this could move a lot of votes away from Gianforte without swinging the election, it's really not that clear it was close before yesterday and nobody thought Quist was ahead d) as mentioned above, more than half the vote is already in the books

Anybody remember that bullshit "pink pistols" scare that showed up on Fox News & Oreilly 10 years ago? Here's an interview with Rashad Robinson, who was pulled on the show to talk about it

Listening to Politically Re-Active with W. Kamau Bell & Hari Kondabolu (Rashad Robinson & Color of Change Cancels Bill O'Reilly)

Rashad Robinson has done battle with Bill O’Reilly and won – twice. He’s taken on the shady, corporate-driven conservative operation ALEC and gotten companies like Coca Cola and Walmart to back down from supporting stand-your-ground laws. And now, after successfully campaigning to remove O’Reilly from Fox News - along with
great work from UltraViolet, the Women's March, NOW-New York, CREDO, Sleeping Giants, and MoveOn - he’s taking on the prison-profiteering bail bond industry – and it’s not even June. As executive director of Color of Change, the nation's largest online racial justice organization, Rashad is at the forefront of the strategic campaigns that transform lives and movements. In this episode of Politically Re-Active, he shares the backstories behind these campaigns, the role of entertainment in the resistance, and more. Trust us – you won’t want to miss it!

Please visit Color of Change to learn how you can support their campaigns, especially their current campaign to reform the bail bond industry: https://www.colorofchange.org/. And follow Rashad on Twitter: @rashadrobinson.

Get in the head of one of your favorite hosts! Kamau’s book “The Awkward Thoughts of W. Kamau Bell” is available on Amazon. You can find a link as well as dates for his book tour at http://www.wkamaubell.com/. Hari also really, really wants you to listen to his albums and come to his shows. Do it!
