It is funny how so much of the population that seem think national austerity is just what we need guv. The last time I went to Wembley I packed a thermos flask full of red wine and a pop bottle full of courvoisier for on the coach. Not much chance of getting a hangover with the £5+ pints of watery lager at Wembley, and I'm going by 2012 prices there.

Sounds like a plan, I remember going to Wembley as a kid in the 80s and my dad having an eppy when somebody tried to charge him a quid for a can of pop

They hadn't put the prices up by last year, although they did have some sort of weird system in place to try and stop you buying multiple drinks at once.

I just found out my step-dad has booked a train for the monday Wembley trip, beautiful - I won't even need to hide my booze.

I'm jealous - I'll be in Norwich pretending to be an artist until Sunday then will be dashing down without enough time spare to ensure I remember nothing at all about the day out at Wembles.

The security goons at Wembley seemed a bit keen last time, one of them accused me of being too drunk which was only about half right. I am going have a good drink but maybe a bit less than last time. It sounds like taking any bags is a no as well, wouldn't even be sure if you could leave one in a locker at Victoria station atm. Probably travelling light will be the order of the day.
