Surely with it having come out that there were problems with the clearance with Flynn to the extent that they have, anybody who is forwarded for the FBI head position will have all eyes on procedures being followed as to their being vetted properly. Subsequently the idea that Trump could just position one of his guys there would be a no go.
Or are things already that twisted that that could be bypassed.

Who even cares anymore? If they don't secure a special prosecutor (as appears increasingly likely), the entire affair will be complete theater (even moreso than it was ever gonna be). No one on the GOP side is going to hitch up their big boy britches and look out for anyone but #1, so everyone in the country should probably just go ahead and strap in for a perpetual powerfuck.

I don't know how I would become acquainted with a Trump voter. My extended family is mostly out of sight, out of mind.

i've also made some snide remarks to my parents (who have no savings and subsist completely on SS & mom's laughably meager pension) and recently divorced & unemployed sister about how i hope nobody expects a handout when the social safety net is completely dismantled.
