Lol! I love that old smashed windows classic but I don't one of our coaches ever travelled windlowless for that kind of epic. I have nowt against the club really - just sort of thinking of brawling UKIP supporters(see the Torygrph) and the possibly unfair perception of it being a hive of bigotry!

fuck my typing, keep missing words out

calzino, Saturday, 29 April 2017 23:18 (seven years ago) link

probably over the limit for posting right now, again.

calzino, Saturday, 29 April 2017 23:19 (seven years ago) link

anyways congrats to Exeter and gl in the playoffs, I'll be rooting for them Tim.

calzino, Saturday, 29 April 2017 23:20 (seven years ago) link

Yeah likewise, Town in the top flight would be amazing.

Tim, Saturday, 29 April 2017 23:25 (seven years ago) link

Wednesday are in good form and we never get anything from them in recent history. Vydra seems to score at will against us, see also Rhodes. Fulham put 9 past us in one and a half games. If I'm getting train tickets to London , it wont be football related - but thanx for the kind words!

calzino, Saturday, 29 April 2017 23:33 (seven years ago) link

"Maybe he's [Wagner] not aware of the way the British game is played, and the integrity of all the leagues," he said.

after reading this from Mowbray I think I want Blackburn to go down now.

calzino, Saturday, 29 April 2017 23:55 (seven years ago) link

Because of course, loads of "understanding the British game" British coaches haven't fucked up many relegation battles for other clubs in the past by sending out the stiffs when the playoffs loom.

calzino, Saturday, 29 April 2017 23:58 (seven years ago) link

He is from Saltburn on sea which is 20 odd miles down road from Hartlepool!

calzino, Sunday, 30 April 2017 00:01 (seven years ago) link

In fact it was a distinctly British confluence of twat-managers who colluded (by playing their stiffs) to get us relegated in 2001.

calzino, Sunday, 30 April 2017 00:14 (seven years ago) link

If it wasn't shame enough that we bottled a chance to send down Brum, now the last straw is one of our lot (young TM acolyte, gormless ToryGirl - Beth Prescott) is odds on fav to win the Dewsbury seat for the Tories. [launches season ticket into bin]

lol! Another one of them Holme Valley gangstas!

"DJ Q’s musical journey started from a young age at The Nook in Holmfirth.."

calzino, Monday, 1 May 2017 13:37 (seven years ago) link

was gonna say, must've been some decent Bassline nights round Hudd

The Real Remoaner (Noodle Vague), Monday, 1 May 2017 15:14 (seven years ago) link

there are some cracking discotheques, allegedly. I think John major was pm last time i went to a Hudds club tho! I used to work with this foul-mouthed thug type from Holmfirth and was shocked when we picked him up outside his 7 bedroom country chateau.

"The liquidator of Leeds United has missed out on a payment of £4.75m after the club failed to be promoted in the 10 seasons since chairman Ken Bates put it through a pre-pack administration in May 2007."

Nice of the impartial local BBC radio weekly football show to commemorate that last great English manager Howard Wilkinson and fail to mention 2 of the region's other teams have made the playoffs.

calzino, Monday, 1 May 2017 18:43 (seven years ago) link

Harry Grayson has been a biased Leeds cunt for over 30 years

The Real Remoaner (Noodle Vague), Monday, 1 May 2017 18:46 (seven years ago) link

Hasn't he just. And the Radio Leeds commentary team are also appalling - Especially Noel Whelan. A level of partisanship is expected - but outright dismissing all opposition teams is just arrogant and boorish.

calzino, Monday, 1 May 2017 18:58 (seven years ago) link

This Bassline scene in Holmfirth thing has been a shock to me today. It is very white affluent place with Morris Dancers invading the village square every summer.

calzino, Monday, 1 May 2017 19:02 (seven years ago) link

It isn't like Hebden Bridge which is a bastion of oddness, the old left and with a massive gay community. It is very racist and unwelcoming to "outsiders" in my experience.

calzino, Monday, 1 May 2017 19:05 (seven years ago) link

This wannabe gangsta kid I used to work with from Holmfirth once told me his dad worked in a prison, he sort of made it sound like he was a screw in his "inimitable" style. The truth was his dad was a professor of literature who had a p/t sideline teaching in a prison!

calzino, Monday, 1 May 2017 19:15 (seven years ago) link

even the C's side against us; bitter lol

Those streaming sites will be overworked next season, to sake the international demand for fixtures like Crewe vs Morecambe all EFL fixtures will be livestreamed to the world.

Windsor Davies, Sunday, 7 May 2017 11:18 (seven years ago) link

ahhh you fuckin jammy cunts

Windsor Davies, Sunday, 7 May 2017 11:19 (seven years ago) link

Our keeper off after 19 mins for handling the ball outside the area, defence a shambles. can't fucking wait for next week against a good side.

calzino, Sunday, 7 May 2017 11:23 (seven years ago) link

So it will 1st home leg against Wednesday next week, tiny glimmer of hope >>>Forestieri appears to be crocked. Maybe we have just been consistently shit for the last few weeks as part of some deep mind games.

calzino, Sunday, 7 May 2017 11:39 (seven years ago) link

Like one of them deep ocean predators that pretend to be dead, well maybe not actually.

calzino, Sunday, 7 May 2017 11:40 (seven years ago) link

Forest go a goal up. If Bristol can get level then the Blues will be in the drop zone on goal difference. this can still happen!

Windsor Davies, Sunday, 7 May 2017 11:46 (seven years ago) link

If only Bristol C needed a win today

calzino, Sunday, 7 May 2017 11:50 (seven years ago) link

The Remoans of the May (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 7 May 2017 12:14 (seven years ago) link

The Remoans of the May (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 7 May 2017 12:53 (seven years ago) link

Bristol City are blowing this. keep coming close but they can't get it in the net

ahhhh fuck we just wrecked it for Brighton. ffs we can't do anything right

Windsor Davies, Sunday, 7 May 2017 12:54 (seven years ago) link

The Remoans of the May (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 7 May 2017 12:57 (seven years ago) link

Windsor Davies, Sunday, 7 May 2017 12:57 (seven years ago) link

that is an outrage, that tosser shouldn't have been let near a game with regional rivals survival at stake.

The Remoans of the May (Noodle Vague), Friday, 12 May 2017 11:07 (six years ago) link

Good luck with the local derby tomorrow, Tim. I am so nervous about tomorrow myself. Anything less than a two goal defeat tomorrow and I'm going to watch the 2nd leg in a pub on wednesday. It would be strange if we are still in it by wednesday, the same day of my dad's funeral - which I wont be attending. Long story, but I'll keep that shit off here from hereon!

Didn't catch the Fulham game, but I'm sure Reading won't be smug for the 2nd leg. Because Fulham can do shock and awe better than any in this division when they can get it together.
