Nice record, I didn't know this one. Disagree about the vocal but its not too intrusive:)

now if mr. booker t had included even one more lick of the vocal, i'd be with you there. but i like the stab-in-get-out on this one. not too intrusive as you say.

big fan of that Booker T remix but I prefer it as a vocal number. It's so shameless and I love the interplay between those sinister bleeps and the generic vocal. It's on this compilation which is my favourite snapshot of UK garage at its peak.

I was really into Exist Dance in college, loved the original three Tranquility Bass "ambient" tracks (Cantamilla, Mya Yadana and They Come in Peace)

Ability II - Pressure (Dub) - this was recently reissued with a Luca Lozano remix but the original dub is the stand-out for me. It's so obviously a rip-off of "LFO" but those delayed vocal snatches really make it.
