All of you are wrong with the reverence for P-Funk. I know that's a bizarre opinion to have so I will contain it to this one post. I know they used to get described as the funk Kiss and that's pretty otm.

I have little reverence for P-Funk and only included one song from each if the two major acts on my ballot. Funkadelic albums, more often than not, I find, are a chore.

I really should've gotten my shit together and voted. I feel like a failure, especially since there are a few songs already I could've bumped way up the list.

I just didn't have time to dedicate to compiling a ballot for this poll. If I had, "In the Rain" would have gotten more points - love that song.

I know predictions are gauche but screw it. Super Bad, I Bet You and Cruisin' have all somehow managed to miss the top 150 of this poll. So nobody apart from ArchCarrier has any idea what's going to happen.

I'm predicting something from There's A Riot wins this. Probably Family Affair.

Love the One You're With always baffled me. Like, no one warned Stills just how toxic the idea is? Thinking of You is out of this world and I can't understand how it wasn't on every ballot.

xp It's just an off-putting sentiment. Especially in the revolutionary context Stills dabbled in up until that point. It's sort of standard country song stuff I guess but most country songs have the good sense not to marry defetist lyrics to soaring choruses about eagles and doves.

Hey I like that Summer Breeze! It takes awhile to get going but once it does it's real nice.

So many brilliant songs already accounted for.

I only voted for two Al Green songs. Sha-La-La was one of them.

Love that Jackson Sisters song so much. One of the most uplifting songs I can think of. It was in my top 25.

I voted for a different Smokey song, but I'm happy to see Cruisin' make it. His 70s albums are so underrated.

Want Ads is a nice surprise to see. Amazing song.

I was listening to Songs In The Key Of Life yesterday. I really should have voted for As. I tried to not vote for more than three songs by each artist.

The Dramatics, Dr. Buzzard, Sylvester, Hot Chocolate, Isley Brothers, War and Chic are all classics too. This list is awesome so far.

I sent in my ballot in the last minute and if I didn't it wouldn't have made it! Such a beautiful song and a perfect coda (along with Another Star) to one of the best albums of all time
