Poor Gorja-Gael Maggie Nunzetta Wileman

On Some Faraday Beach (Le Bateau Ivre), Thursday, 6 April 2017 11:01 (seven years ago) link

I was on the way home from a lesson in Harrow and went through Wembley Park as the game was in injury time. A few Coventry fans with young kids got on having left early. Imagine having to leave before the final whistle of the one moment of glory inside the last idk twenty years

Goddamn I wish I'd gone today, I love late drama. But those 20k crowds are totally autism unfriendly at the moment. I'm hankering for the days when we had banks of empty seats and a totally shite squad and manager!

calzino, Friday, 14 April 2017 16:18 (seven years ago) link

i wish i wasnae too hungover to make it to the pub

Raul Chamgerlain (Noodle Vague), Friday, 14 April 2017 16:23 (seven years ago) link

Andy Lonergan is fucking shit

Raul Chamgerlain (Noodle Vague), Friday, 14 April 2017 16:46 (seven years ago) link

surely it's about time for Brighton's annual choke

Raul Chamgerlain (Noodle Vague), Friday, 14 April 2017 16:49 (seven years ago) link

quite stoked for Joshua v Klitschko tbh

Raul Chamgerlain (Noodle Vague), Friday, 14 April 2017 16:49 (seven years ago) link

Brighton looked so flaky and like they were going to choke a few weeks back, WTF! they are almost champions now!

calzino, Friday, 14 April 2017 17:00 (seven years ago) link

we'll do one of our second half comebacks and they'll go on a losing streak for the rest of the month

nah, not really

Raul Chamgerlain (Noodle Vague), Friday, 14 April 2017 17:01 (seven years ago) link

If Leeds do us a favour tonight I might actually foolishly think automatic will be on again. If we are in the playoffs, completely avoiding Wednesday Forestieri will be our only chance of progressing.

calzino, Friday, 14 April 2017 17:11 (seven years ago) link

Andy Lonergan is fucking shit

Raul Chamgerlain (Noodle Vague), Friday, 14 April 2017 17:41 (seven years ago) link

Leeds look absolute garbage tonight from what I've seen, it's a miracle it is still 0-0.

calzino, Friday, 14 April 2017 20:09 (seven years ago) link

hah! literally the second I posted!

calzino, Friday, 14 April 2017 20:10 (seven years ago) link

Fulham will probably supplant their playoff berth on this showing.

calzino, Friday, 14 April 2017 20:13 (seven years ago) link

Equaliser!

Steve Stone moaning about the paucity of Newcastle's squad on the radio.

the one bright point of this season bar the cup wins has been the way Birmingham machine-gunned themselves in the foot. poor old Gianfranco.

Raul Chamgerlain (Noodle Vague), Friday, 14 April 2017 20:52 (seven years ago) link

did you hear the Brum fan on 5 live who has given up on the playoffs now?

calzino, Friday, 14 April 2017 20:56 (seven years ago) link

It was probably a troll, but it gave me a giggle.

calzino, Friday, 14 April 2017 20:58 (seven years ago) link

lol i did not

Raul Chamgerlain (Noodle Vague), Friday, 14 April 2017 20:58 (seven years ago) link

being a Bluenose means giving up on life tbrr

Raul Chamgerlain (Noodle Vague), Friday, 14 April 2017 20:59 (seven years ago) link

We still owe them big-time for the last day '01 relegation travesty when that shithouse Trevor Francis managed them. It was a cruel relegation followed by shitty comments from Francis and them bastards singing "We'll Meet Again"! If we could play some part in relegating them in the penultimate game it would make me happy, though it might be unlikely. Burton vs Brum will be massive for the former's hopes of staying up, and I know who i'd fancy more on an acc.

calzino, Friday, 14 April 2017 21:19 (seven years ago) link

A special treat for my 40 odd years and lost count birthday; a Wednesday night away game against Wolves either on the wireless or an illegal stream. Just when I started thinking life couldn't get any better :p

calzino, Friday, 14 April 2017 21:24 (seven years ago) link

Wow! Newcastle are now officially shit, lets see if we can ramp up the pressure on them. Good work btw NV!

calzino, Monday, 17 April 2017 15:56 (seven years ago) link

at my mom's, we went out for lunch with my brother and sister-in-law, was talking about how up and down Wolves are and what happens next.

but glad as i am for Dicko, who i'd love to get back to his best, the result of the afternoon has gotta be that beautiful Burton win, probably ensuring their safety and dragging the Blues that little bit closer to the abyss.

Raul Chamgerlain (Noodle Vague), Monday, 17 April 2017 15:59 (seven years ago) link

I had them on my acc at 13/5, but alas some other duds let me down.

calzino, Monday, 17 April 2017 16:09 (seven years ago) link

Really, really want Huddersfield to snatch second place from Toon, that would be so sweet. Wolves beating Leeds also v satisfying.

On Some Faraday Beach (Le Bateau Ivre), Monday, 17 April 2017 16:56 (seven years ago) link

Zola out

Raul Chamgerlain (Noodle Vague), Monday, 17 April 2017 17:14 (seven years ago) link

that was an aggravating result

Raul Chamgerlain (Noodle Vague), Monday, 17 April 2017 18:14 (seven years ago) link

quite uncharacteristically boring, park-the-bus type tactical failure from Wagner tonight, hope he doesn't try this shit in playoff games. I don't think I can curse it from this point - famous last words!

calzino, Monday, 17 April 2017 19:23 (seven years ago) link

ahahaha

r|t|c, Tuesday, 18 April 2017 10:05 (seven years ago) link

Raul Chamgerlain (Noodle Vague), Tuesday, 18 April 2017 10:06 (seven years ago) link

Raul Chamgerlain (Noodle Vague), Tuesday, 18 April 2017 10:07 (seven years ago) link

even forest down is still A+

r|t|c, Tuesday, 18 April 2017 10:13 (seven years ago) link

me and bruv have already discussed the prospect of us playing a team of cleaners on Satday

Raul Chamgerlain (Noodle Vague), Tuesday, 18 April 2017 10:14 (seven years ago) link

r|t|c, Tuesday, 18 April 2017 10:17 (seven years ago) link

is it on telly? really hope so

Raul Chamgerlain (Noodle Vague), Tuesday, 18 April 2017 10:23 (seven years ago) link

was just reading about the Brighton owner Tony "The Lizard" Bloom. Can sort of respect that he made his fortune through a gambling syndicate and is probably dodgy as fuck, better than our owner who made his by paying minimum wage to retail staff selling worthless tat.

calzino, Tuesday, 18 April 2017 14:25 (seven years ago) link

Wow! Newcastle are now officially shit, lets see if we can ramp up the pressure on them. Good work btw NV!

Give us a break.... Two wins on the trot is a ray of sunshine in this bleak season.

wtev, Tuesday, 18 April 2017 15:32 (seven years ago) link

is there some kind of chart or maybe even a table that mathematically counts this misery in pts gained from wins and draws?

calzino, Tuesday, 18 April 2017 15:37 (seven years ago) link

The League 2 playoff race is absurdly tight: the team in 13th is 2 points off the last play off place. My lot are 1 point above the last play-off place; two wins does it for us I think, but I am very nervous.

Tim, Tuesday, 18 April 2017 15:49 (seven years ago) link

Might be some generous odds on teams with nothing to play for against those with everything still in play for the next few games. I always look for this type of value.
