how do the keeper picks work in the draft, are they automatically taken out? sorry for dumb question but i haven't done a keeper league before

they will all happen in the last 5 rounds. so you'll have 5 picks in a row right at the end (i think).

realized the end of the draft was creeping up way too quick, realized i hadn't queued up a young minor leaguer to draft with my last pick, freaked out, grabbed alex reyes, of course without checking he's out for the season... so he'll be getting dropped for a catcher at some point, anyway. my batting is gonna be terrifying this year just hope my pitching can hang

I might do that, although given my keeper options at this point in the season there's almost no point. Might instead just pick up a guy who starts in the minors who I epxect to make an impact this year (i ahve at least one in mind).

Ohtani is going to be two separate players btw. I can't see a simple way of keeping both hims on the same team.

we could just have an honour rule where if you draft pitching ohtani, only you are allowed to pick up hitting ohtani? far from ideal, but he presents a unique challenge (i think the best would just be if you could start him as a batter OR hitter each day, but yahoo fucked that right up)
