donuts is hella fun, the tracks are all like 2 minutes or less and it's mixed pretty rough, so it doesn't really sound like an album of HIP HOP INSTRUMENTALS, it's like going on a ride or something. and it just sounds thick and luscious.

endtroducing is like HIP HOP floyd or something, totally rules apart from a few shitty moments. it has a strong fresh piney fragrance to it, like "changeling" when the tangerine dream really kicks in is a big ol "this is why 70s music rules" thing, just very very nice.

the flying lotus album is good

the beats on petestrumentals are hot but i never feel like listening to it as an album

madlib rules, haven't heard his stuff listed here, though

deadringer sucks

the rest of this probably sucks

the first dj vadim album is scary as fuck, classic

rock over bristol...

i would like a version of donuts where each beat is cut into the frosting on some kind of fried dough ring, like maybe a cruller, but less bumpy

The Knxwledge album is fantastic, but I'll probably be its only voter, hey ho.

Dj Shadow - Pre-emptive strike is probably as essential as Endtroducing ("In-Flux" in particular).
