Redemption is out on CD and vinyl as of last Monday (in the UK anyways). More accurately, the title RedemptionHeart appears to have been revived for the physical release.

The CD has two previously unreleased bonus tracks, "Hurricane" and "Van Gogh". The latter sounds like a keeper judging by the clips on Juno:

maura and I caught this last night. Holy shit. She was INCREDIBLE. She gave a rapturous audience in a small club 2 straight hours of fire, and THAT VOICE. Holy shit.

She was greeting people and taking pictures with fans afterward. I thought about sticking around to talk to her but a) after doing what she just did, I didn't want to make her talk any more than she had to, and b) I am old and wanted to go home.

Redemptionheart is probably my fave album of last year. Impeccable sequencing and the album has both sides of a coin, the second half is super chill and a great way to go after the euphoric highs of the first. Lilies picks up the momentum but doesn't deliver the beats the way the first half does, and for that it's all the more powerful, and the vocalizations in the track harken back to early dawn (like goldenheart) so that makes me happy!

Today, she announces an intimate and unique support tour experience with New Zealand’s Kimbra later this year, which will feature DAWN reimagining her solo work with nothing but her Moog synthesizer. DAWN’s latest single “Jealousy” is the first track off a new album set for release in early 2019 through Local Action/Our Dawn Entertainment, DAWN’s first solo work released since 2016. Her previously released trilogy of solo records garnered critical acclaim from Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, Fader, FACT and more. She was also a featured guest vocalist on Dirty Projectors’ latest album. She will be on tour with her former Danity Kane band-mates under the banner DK3 this September/October, and also plays Adult Swim Festival this November, where she has been a curator and designer for the cable channel. As an actress, she was recently featured in the new season of HBO series Insecure, as well as the movies Five Weddings and Kinky, both out this Autumn.
