if you substitute that wolf for a rat, there was a very similar scene at my backyard bird-feeding station on friday. Only it was a combo of a robin and a blackbird dive-bombing the invasive rat, but the rat was a dour stayer and wasn't one for retreating!
I don't think I can face tomorrow's game, will probably take it in whilst wandering about with my sweaty hangover and my portable radio instead.

Beautiful Real England tableau there
Got my ticket, have had my expectations carefully minimized by my bruv, if it turns out to be a shit game I'm gonna amuse myself by bellowing for us to sign more foreign show ponies who don't understand the Champo

would always like updates from calzino's bird-feeding station tbh, definitely more exciting than supporting charlton

I have often found at least 4 horrible contracts managers from companies I previously worked at in the last decade are usually at these Boxing day games and are usually sat quite near to me or just appear from nowhere like smoke ninjas when you go for a piss, and I would actually rather we lost 4-0 to Leeds than actually talk to one of these cunts ever again. But on the other hand I would love to get into the boxing day spirit, but it just doesn't work anymore:( or maybe :)

excellent day for mug-punter home bankers in the champo today, I made £145 out of a 4 quid 5 fold!

Massively entertaining and low quality match featuring 1 cracking goal and a hilarious off-the-line controversy in the last 10 seconds, hope they turn out to have been robbed when I see it on TV

I had your lot at 6/5 and up to that penalty I had almost written off the acc. Score-watching is such fun when your bet starts to look good with minutes to go.

I can't stand the massive wendies and the white shite champions of Europe, but Yorkshire are owning those playoff berths at the mo 4 real.

Notts Forest passes: 168
Aaron Mooy passes: 119
this player is probably the main reason we are 4th. I have never seen a more talented + creative midfield player for town and some of worst performances have been when they predictably keep lumping the ball to him - which is an understandable instinct. But he has also been at the heart of the best performances and terrifies all the big dogs of the championship. We haven't a prayer of keeping him beyond this season, as soon as I saw him in a pre-season friendly I was thinking How the fuck we sign him? He probably won't trouble Pep's thoughts, but there must be a good home in the prem for him next season.

he also got booked which felt like a surprise
apparently earlier someone on that C5 aberration referred to Shelvey as the best midfielder in the champo, absolute bollocks imo.

fucking hell is Karl Robinson still 36? I thought he was roughly that age back in our L1 era. well anyway I reckon he will do alright at a non-franchise club.
― calzino, Tuesday, 27 December 2016 01:54 (seven years ago) link
half our fans have helpfully decided to write him off already, and have explained today's win as an aberration on our quest for the ryman premier. ffs

yeah that Stroud is an incompetent + should have sent off the Bristol City keeper a couple of weeks back, but we still won thankfully.
looking into this Mooy deal it seems he is a pawn in the City owners game to covertly shift 7 mill to their Aussie franchise without openly breaking any rules. 7 mill is fuck all to them sybarites but a big windfall in Aussie football.

i genuinely cannot fathom the team ollie's put out here. sandro sylla and four wingers. either mackie's playing rb and perch is cm or a youth left winger making his debut is anchoring midfield with a cripple

we had 70 odd percent possession, created shitloads of clear cut chances and toyed with Blackburn for 80 mins. Almost got beat by a parked bus only for a beautiful Nahki freekick at the death. Coyle won't win a relegation battle with that negative shit.
