The Temptations - Hear To Tempt You (1977) Kind of bog-standard hear/here stuff, but the underlining kinda takes it over the top for me.

The "what are ya gonna do?" shrug and hand gesture that Rory is doing is what makes this one all-time, I think. Reminiscent of the hundreds of movie posters in roughly this vein:

on the one hand it looks like something some guy did on his laser printer in '94 but OTOH it's by a guy who once had an album produced by Lindsey Buckingham, so I consider this a major find for this thread

I can't believe I JUST got the pun in "Fundamental Roll." Album cover aside, that first Egan album is a wonderful slice of Buddy Holly-influenced pop rock, recommended if you're into Marshall Crenshaw and/or Nick Lowe. (Or Fleetwood Mac.)
