An internet meme related to confabulation is the Mandela Effect, a situation where a number of people have memories that are different from available evidence. The term was coined by paranormal enthusiast Fiona Broome, who says she and other people remember Nelson Mandela dying in 1980s, rather than in 2013.[61][62] A common thread of discussion regarding this "effect" is remembering the Berenstain Bears with a different spelling.[63] [64]

Schmidt has refined his Schmidt Sting Pain Index (scaled from 1 to 4) with extensive anecdotal experience, culminating in a paper published in 1990 which classifies the stings of 78 species and 41 genera of Hymenoptera.

ow!

Not sure if its online, but that paper has surprisngly evocative descriptions, like wine notes

Found some, describing various wasp and bee stings...

Hot and smoky, almost irreverent. Imagine W. C. Fields extinguishing a cigar on your tongue.

Instantaneous, like the surprise of being stabbed. Is this what shrapnel feels like?

Rude, insulting. An ember from your campfire is glued to your forearm.

Sharp, piercing, and imme- diate. You know what cattle feel when they are branded.

An odd, distressing pain. Tiny blowtorches kiss your arms and legs.

A ritual gone wrong, satanic. The gas lamp in the old church explodes in your face when you light it.

There are gods, and they do throw thunderbolts. Poseidon just rammed his trident into your breast.

Caustic and burning, with a distinctly bitter aftertaste. Like spilling a beaker of hydrochloric acid on a paper cut.

Immediate, irrationally intense, and unrelenting. This is the closest you will come to seeing the blue of a flame from within the fire.

Size matters but isn’t every- thing. A silver tablespoon drops squarely onto your big toenail, sending you hopping.

Burning, corrosive, but you can handle it. A flaming match head lands on your arm and is quenched first with lye and then sulfuric acid.

It’s crawled into your soda can and stings you on the tongue. It’s immediate, noisome, visceral, debilitat- ing. For 10 minutes life is not worth living.

Colorful flames. Fireworks land on your arm.

Swift, sharp, and decisive. Your fingertip has been slammed by a car door.

Electrifying, sharp, and piercing. Next time hire an electrician.

The story of "Precious and Few" has many twists.

Walter Metz attributes the success of the series to its snappy writing, the charm of Elizabeth Montgomery, and the talents of its large supporting cast. The show also made use of respected film techniques for its special effects. The soundtrack was unique, notably where it concerned the synthesized sound of nose twitching.[7]

Curiously she was subpoenaed to appear as a witness in Polly's trial for murder, set for a week after her own execution date. However, it was ruled that Amelia was already legally dead once sentenced and that therefore her evidence would be inadmissible.

I didn't read that properly and thought for a moment that Bewitched (I assume) might have had (conventional sounding) music that was created from a Matmos-esque hyper-sensitive recording of someone twitching their nose.

The album's cover art featured a hippie Santa Claus. Peace was notable for being involved in controversy: an anti-war cartoon, in a December 1968 edition of Billboard magazine, featured a graphic image of a bruised and bloodied Santa on a Vietnam battlefield. Mistaking this cartoon for the album's cover art, a drunken executive at Montgomery Ward cancelled all shipments of the album.

Macaroni art, sometimes referred to as macaroni crafts or pasta art, is artwork that is made of dry macaroni or other pasta.[1] The works commonly consist of individual pieces of macaroni glued to a surface to produce a mosaic. However, works may take the form of sculptures.

This type of art is produced during arts and crafts classes at pre-school.[2] Today, it has evolved to become an artform practiced by adults.

In an episode of the television sitcom Seinfeld, Cosmo Kramer produces a small sculpture made of fusilli called "Fusili Jerry". An extremely complex and superb example of noodle art is this poster from a performance by Nancy Sinatra at the world famous Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco. The art the poster was made from is composed entirely of Pasta and Beans (Pasta e Fagioli) The Alphabet Pasta that Ms. Sinatra's face is composed of spells out the lyrics for her hit These Boots Are Made For Walking. http://www.classicposters.com/Nancy_Sinatra/poster/New_Fillmore_Series/194

She rented a studio inside the Fernleaf Courtyard, in Corona Del Mar, California, where she would entertain her clients outdoors with coffee and finger sandwiches and found herself, one year later, with a full-time restaurant.

Pallete has created among other works of art, a collection of still nature and beautiful ladies, belly dancers called "Glamour Girls", and group images from the Hollywood world.

In 1973, she and Wayne separated, and he died of stomach cancer on June 11, 1979
