it's pretty obscure, but there's this beer garden, sorry BIERGARTEN, in queens.
seriously though, it's great in the afternoon for lunch and drinks, but don't ever go after 5pm. Then it's intolerable.

also, mets games (but i haven't been in forever, and obv can't speak to the new shake shake.)
there is a rooftop winebar in wbrg but it probably sucks.clem's in wburg has tables on the sidewalk and is pretty good if you can score one of those; the interior of the bar is kinda narrow & cramped.

well, down by YR area, morbs, there is the farm on adderley, though i actually don't know if you can just drink outside? they have a bar but it's also a restaurant

sycamore is great, but i haven't been in the warm weather--there's a backayrd?
also, the "crown heights beer garden" aka Franklin Park is fine when it's not super crowded; good for sunday or saturday afternoons & week nights. ex-ilxor Bell_Labs lives across the street and the noise/music from the bar is often pretty irritating.
