so when does it flush the system/assign keepers? is it at the draft? i haven't done my rankings in the yahoo system yet

so, uh – sanskrit looks like Matt Harvey will be 27 on opening day (late march b-day), which would give you 4 guys in the 27+ dept on opening day. sorry i didn't catch this sooner.

so – I'm not sure what to do about sanskrit's team. he made an mistake with Harvey's (and also Carrasco's) age which has put him one over how many guys he can have in the 27-29 range and I haven't heard back from him yet. i figure he'd probably drop Ross (28) - but do i take the liberty of guessing who's he prefer in the sub-27 range? i think Soler is the obvious pick, but there's also Castillo and Wood... or do i just leave him with 4 keepers and an extra draft pick?

also – everybody check your picks on your team page. make sure i got them right.

wait where? i see in the notes log you edited keepers or whatever but when i view my roster it just shows my whole 2015 team

The picks *should* have that keeper icon next to their name. This really sucks waiting on sanskrit, I can't make anything final without hearing from him.

ok. i've locked shit down. keepers will now have the "K" icon next to them. i should be able to go back and revise things up to a few hours before the draft if sanskrit isn't happy with hanging onto soler instead of ross.

with manual keepers i have to select the draft order myself (i use a website that randomizes lists to do this).

I tried to focus more on offense, every year I find I'm struggling on offense and wasting my good pitching (only two more years of Kershaw carrying my team!)

Hopefully at least one of my post-hype prospects pan out (Bauer, Castellanos) for future keeperables.

Finnegan will be starting with the Reds this year, he's young, and has been really good in his limited time in the majors. Unfortunately he's been getting shelled in spring training and will be pitching half of his games in a HR launching pad, but it's not like any of my other keeper eligibles were a surer thing.
