Sam Dees ' Second To None' In my opinion Sam Dees is one of the more underappreciated soul guys. Perhaps, more for deep soul fans.

Is someone going to run up and kick me in the but if I say that soul and funk are more singles genres than album genres? I mean, there are great soul and funk albums, but if you limited yourself to albums you'd be missing out on a significant percentage of great soul and funk.

Actually I was going to ask a related question: are there Earth Wind and Fire albums worth getting, or should I just grab an anthology or two. If the latter, which one(s)? Same question goes for Ohio Players.
