that paragraph DOES clearly appear in a list of things mentioned in the lyrics and it almost seems like you'd have to be willfully taking it out of context to make it look "weird." and it's an excerpt from an already published book so any critique of it doesn't really need to be laid at pitchfork's feet itt anyway.

true, maybe this is the wrong thread - saw the book recommended but was a bit disappointed after reading this excerpt, quoted part sounds like a faux naive rapgenius annotation to me, but probably I just don't share the author's humour
