That hasnt actually happened before . Albums dont usually come out that late.

I dont want to postpone the poll until january as guys like phil have said they feel burnt out by then and dont vote and that is why i changed the dates a year or 2 ago to accommodate them.

Plus the big EOY poll overshadows it and this way it fives people a few weeks to check out and discuss the poll results.

If guys like phil say they will still vote then id be open to changing it as long as thats ok with seandalai

People who want to get their ballots in early can do so. Those who prefer to wait can do so. its entirely up to seandalai but the big EOY poll will open for noms etc and people concentrate on that whereas just now they are a bit more open to checking out the metal poll when its run earlier

but with the holidays coming up noone ever votes in that period. so that means we need an extra week for when people start work again as almost everybody leaves it to the last minute (and claims they didnt know it was time up)
