i did so much shopping today! it has inspired me to do MORE shopping online!

i am dogsitting and have an entire apartment to myself, which is a+.

In person shopping is not my favorite. I'm taking my SIL to the Mall of America next Friday to a store called "Tall Girl" because she's 6 feet tall and needs to find clothes that fit. I will feel very stupid in this store since I'm not so tall, but you know, anything for the cool family members.

it is so humid/sticky here. i feel gross.

Happy Sunday ITR. Envious of John and FB's fun night last night, BUT staying home and watching SNL was surprisingly fun. Followed by a solid 10 1/2 hours of sleep. Almost ready to go back to the constant cramming that this insane class requires.

so i had to work all day yesterday, and was feeling pretty grim about it. jordan picked me up at the end of the day, and he'd bought me my favourite aussie gingerbeer, packed it into a container of ice, also bought me one of my favourite new zealish chocolate bars (cadbury flake, so delish), and then took me out for dinner. best boyfriend ever.

now he's off mountain-biking till this afternoon, so i think i'm just gonna stay in bed.

Nothing wrong with that. I slept in later today than I had in a long time.

I love all you pillow-worshippers.

what was it like Ned? Tell those of us who havent been able to sleep in in years. give us detail. give us sleep porn.

i am so jealous of 10.5 hours sleep omg!!!

i had a lovely day consisting of: brunch, a broadway play (not musical), a walk to buy indulgent eye cream, sushi, and a manicure. so don't want to do hw now.

tehresa - that sounds FANTASTIC! Wow. 10.5 hours of sleep was great, but remember that I'm probably not going to get much on Monday night since Tues. morning I need to get up at 4:30 a.m. in order to be at the hospital for a daytime clinical shift... so I'm trying to rest up now!

God I want sushi now. Instead: treadmill, then study study study. Why? ANOTHER QUIZ TOMORROW NIGHT, OF COURSE!

i am procrastinating on this homework. i did not get much sleep last night because a) some "unknown number" called at 3:15 and then around 4:15 there was some weird noise outside, and then by 8 the dog wanted to be walked. ah well, maybe the eye cream will help this.

while we were back in chicago, jordan's mum took him aside and showed him this antique ring (over 100yrs old) and told him he could give it to me when he's ready (she already has a DIL, so i'm stoked that she'd rather i have it). of course it was all supposed to be secret, but i asked jordan what the big mystery was as soon as he came back in the room and he told me right away (no secrets here, not even good ones!).

I am horrendously tired and my body is in revolt from having drunk 4 martinis, a bottle or two of wine plus champagne and dessert wine yesterday. This comes on top of friday's 10 hour international free drinks session. I am all ruin.

sara, i didn't get to see the ring, it was all hush-hush! but i think jordan said it was platinum and diamond/s? but we had plans for simple titanium wedding rings, so not sure how the two would go together...

oh man i had horrendous nightmares about murder and torture last night and i am not feeling very good this morning :(

Hmmmmmm - I'm clueless in the area of titanium vs. platinum, but I would never reject platinum because WOW. My rings are both white gold - wedding band = very simple, plain band that could do with anything. Could you put a white gold wedding ring with the engagement ring? Hmmmm... you'd probably have to see these things together, huh.

Ed - that is quite an impressive weekend of intake there. I wish you and your liver the best of luck. ;)

RR - I have no clue what titanium looks like (er, maybe I should use Teh Google), but maybe it would work fine with platinum? Our wedding bands were not very expensive, if I'm recalling... of course that was 1995, too. Engagement ring cost a lot more.

I like the idea of titanium wedding bands.

I now remember limoncello, this is sure the root cause of all my woe.

Sara i was totally blissed out on the couch yesterday - still inj pjs, babby down for 3 hour nap, husband watching his fantasy football stat tracker upstairs, cats and dog taking naps and a lil klonopin running around my brane when my cellphone rang and it was work all pushy like 'Get in here NOW! We need you to do stuff NOW. NOW!'

oh the worst bit was i was catching up on all the entourages ive missed because stupid work wont let me stop stupid working
