it was kind of facetious for this band (or any band that is essentially a solo project, like a few months ago dirty beaches "broke up" but its just one dude so he just rebranded and started doing the same thing under a difft name its just exploiting the narrative to get two bumpts instead of one) to ever have broken up in the first place
