xposts: forks i keep clicking on this thread when i'm at work and can't listen with sound, and it is REALLY confusing to do so! i'll try to remember to watch it with sound tonight.

course i don't mind pplains! one thing to keep in mind with gif frame speeds is that the various browsers allow different minimum frame rates. i didn't realize this until just a few months ago, but if you go below .05 seconds per frame, there are a few major browsers that will just ignore it and reset it to .05 again. i think there's even one major browser that won't allow less than 0.06 seconds. it was enough of a shocker that i resolved to never use framerates below 0.05 ever again. i don't know why i'm sharing this useless information except that i need to tell SOMEONE.
