I did too tbh.

I thought it was celebrity Mel Brooks hanging out with a couple of cats.

My parents have the best picture of Brooks where he's wearing this super 70s tux with a ruffled shirt. He used to be a regular customer at their restaurant and he signed and gave it to my dad. I will try to scan it next time I visit them because it's amazing.

That is a weird coincidence because of the thing I said about mel brooks last week but I have a drawing that Peter Max did on the back of one of the placements from my parents' restaurants in the late 70s. It's really trippy and awesome. My dad gave it to me a couple years ago and I have it framed. It's one of my favorite things.

But did Mike Love ever go to your parents' restaurant??

XPs According to the McDonough Wynette bio, George Jones was a HUGE Little Richard fan, going to the lengths of cutting a still a unreleased (and perhaps now lost) tribute album.

Man there are a bunch of unsettling George & Tammy photos online from that era.
