It reminds me of when I was in college I used to drive around with this guy who had a cassette copy of Mezzanine stuck in his shitty van's shitty cassette player. I really liked the album, but whenever I tried to listen to it later on CD, it didn't do the same thing for me as when it was buzzing out of his crusty old speakers.

haha, this guy is indeed terrible when I first heard this I thought nothing could be worse but after 5 listens I'm surprised to find I like it when it comes on the radio, nonsensical lyrics and all

the posing authenticity idiotic aesthetics of this one is a lot more difficult to take for me (and since it's re-released as an international single now, it's both worst songs 2014 and 2015 material)
