is the cover art a deliberate *fuck you* to those of us who bought tickets for the Mark McGrath cruise?

Chris Owens' voice on that song is excruciating.

huh was vaguely curious about that Chris Owens record where he reportedly pulls some country/Buck Owens moves but oof that is some bad songwriting up there

Trying to pick out the lyrics of "B.Y.H.B." through all of that autotune is as foolish as reading a book in the back of the van on the windy mountain roads between NC & Tennessee. I thought this style of production had finally fallen out of fashion; but, just like I've been trying to do my entire life, I forgot about country.

For the sake of my sanity, and because I don't feel like tossing my laptop across the room in a fit of rage, I won't even bother clicking that one.

This is a quick, mid-year reminder that all available tracks mentioned on this thread (and a handful of album selections from each listed) are being posted as updated to the thread-specific Spotify playlist. I just did a top-to-bottom sweep prior to posting this message and have updated as of today with everything that's been added on Spotify since it was first mentioned.
I double dare you to spend two hours with this.

Judging by the frequency with which I hear it out in the wild, it is looking like Andy Grammar's "Honey I'm Good" is a hit, thus completing its status as this year's "Rude."

That's a goldmine Cosmic Slop.
I kinda like the song Katherine posted. It reminds me of when I was in college I used to drive around with this guy who had a cassette copy of Mezzanine stuck in his shitty van's shitty cassette player. I really liked the album, but whenever I tried to listen to it later on CD, it didn't do the same thing for me as when it was buzzing out of his crusty old speakers.
