Is this where we would talk about the latest Good Riddence and Strung Out albums too? Because while hardly reinventing the wheel both are surprisingly return to form. The GR in particular is pretty great.

Menzingers/Chumped a perfectly calibrated concert pairing. humped's vocal disclaimer about respecting space and boundaries while having fun carried over to make for a friendly, just-raucous-enough Menzingers crowd full of hand-on-heart singalong bros (and more than a few ecstatic fangirls)

Also I hope this is a safe space to say that I may be in love with the lead singer/guitarist from Chumped

anika's a completely kickass person so i don't blame you tbh

less good but still admirable is the new spraynard. they could stand to write a chorus

relistening to the last Pianos Become the Teeth record thanks to the deluxe edition - gorgeous album. completely one-note but it's a note that resonates atm. the new(?) bonus tracks are great.

oh, shorebirds are ex-latterman/ex-jawbreaker. latterman were a great band, i've never listened to shorebirds but that song is great
