I had a grapefruit vodka drink it was good

I don't really do cocktails but I had a cucumber & elderflower "ginjito" the other week that was amazing

ive been on a two day galway session which is the first real drinking in almost a year. yesterday was messy but stuck to whiskey today and seems to be ok.

I tried getting drunk and it didn't do anything to numb the pain. Maybe I'm just not cut out to be an alcoholic.

I don't think alcohol is going to do anything for me rn and the idea of waking up with a hangover in a Trump administration is a new horror that I hadn't even considered. I should probably stop drinking altogether and send the savings to immigrant rights orgs.

alcoholic tendencies: I settled in at about 9pm (et) last night, content to watch the latest episode of Westworld on one screen while perpetually reloading the NYT election stats page on another. Around the point it became clear that Trump was closing in on all key battleground states, I relocated to my local bar to be amongst friends and watch the rest unfold. I've been drinking steadily ever since - pacing myself, mind, but if ever there were occasion to indulge unsound habits in the interest of cushioning the DEVASTATING BLOW OF REALITY, it's today.

Since November 2016, with some weeks off. I've found a number of papers that could justify 2 bottle/week wine habits for health. 14 per week doesn't seem to have any benefits.
