I know it's SOP for apple stuff but I always lol that these pieces start out with the writer establishing their cred like "I have have owned over 50 iPhones. I own a pair of New Balances that Steve Jobs wore that I got off of eBay"

mh, Monday, 13 April 2015 16:38 (nine years ago) link

That's not very Punk Rock.

Actually it kinda is.

since they took on that oz bloke for design their products have been looking fucking awful. i6 is probably the worst looking phone in years. they used to be slick.

what are you even talking about

mh, Monday, 13 April 2015 17:57 (nine years ago) link

agreed its a pretty bad visual design, also too big, or they shdve at least continued to offer a smaller one

apples success comes from them figuring out how to make tech stylish and sheek, and trapping users into restrictive software. only at that point did apple take over the world.

Daukins (Arctic Noon Auk), Monday, 13 April 2015 18:12 (nine years ago) link

I was going to respond to this until I noticed "sheek"
