was the 'cheating scandal' serious? i didn't pay much attention to it

obviously we don't know for sure but j0rdan otm i think, their management has run them into the ground (they're literally never not on tour or recording) and to be honest i'm surprised something like this hasn't happened sooner what with the intense nature of their fanbase and the scrutiny that comes with that.

my (baseless) theory is that he's been trying to get out since shortly after the beginning but wasn't able to until he breached a morality clause in his contract w/the cheating scandal

or he just got tired of terrorist 'gags' or stupid people like those in the guardian comments boxes
