I just listened to this bangin' mullet rock from 1980 (but 70's-ish):

At least you can say the cover is memorable, if not artistic.

I kinda liked the first Point Blank album. Never heard the one you posted though.

Those are some exceptional outfits they have there. Digging the blend of too long and too short pants.

well done soref, that's a great run there. "It's Better Than Working!" is so chummily dickish.

Worth pointing out for the non-Brits, the guy on the far left on the last cover wrote Can't Get You Out Of My Head for Kylie.

It's better than working is right up there with there goes the neighborhood by joe Walsh as an ideal of this type of album

I remember as a kid Dave Hill's hair genuinely angered me. Love Slade to death, though.

...and The Wheel. They also had albums called both Collision Course and Comin' Right At Ya, and would in later decades release Western Standard Time, The Wheel Keeps on Rollin', Merry Texas Christmas, Y'All (and belated followup Santa Loves to Boogie), Ride With Bob, Remembers the Alamo, Willie and the Wheel (with Willie Nelson), and, I swear to God, Reinventing the Wheel.

The Christmas albums also remind me that I learned today that Donnie "Ah! Leah" Iris would, in 2010, release his first Christmas album, Ah! Leluiah!

Which apparently two of my cousins (both teens at the time) attended the recording concerts for (free admission announced over the radio). I think it was there that they discovered one of the members of the band lived across the street from them.
