If they're using TweetDeck they see it. At least, I do: I've had a couple of replies from people who've seen stuff on the public feed or via a search, and they've shown up in TD.

Twitter seems like a silly fad to me. But I am a sour-dispositioned old fogey who doesn't even carry a cell phone, so my thoughts on it are not relevant.

okay here's what bugs me, maybe it's easily fixable, but certain accounts i would like to follow are 75% replies to other comments, and since i don't see the original comment there's absolutely no context and it's totally unintelligible.

It's really fucking annoying me as well. I'm trying to think of a way I can make it stop looping the same posts over and over again without actually deleting my account.

What the fuck? I'm intrigued.

Essentially every Twitter post I have made since about lunchtime yesterday is going out again and again and again at regular intervals, like I'm in some kind of perpetual time loop. And there appears to be no way of stopping it. I apologise to anyone who's actually following me - I am aware that what I had for dinner yesterday isn't that interesting. Especially the eighth time around.

Judging by this, it seems to be a problem with people updating from Vodafone in the UK.

Ah, shit! That's absolutely fucking awful. But incredibly, incredibly amusing.

Yes a 12-year old feral hoodie type cycled up alongside me in the park, looked directly at me, said "faggot" and then cycled off. It was funny at the time but probably would not have Twittered it had I known it was going to be endlessly repeated.
