It's actually W. Neil Berrett holding the cake in the picture. I'm kind of disappointed, I'd been hoping that the guy was from the cake shop and was delivering the cake, and that the words on it were more like "shove yer feckin' job, w***er!". Because if I were ever to resign by cake, that's what I'd do. I guess that it just goes to show that not everyone in the world is as misanthropic as I am obviously.

okay it is totally unsurprising to me that someone who dresses like that would resign via cake

xp to Weiney I have been at those Youtube parties, ugh - Youtube should be closed on Friday and Saturday nights from 7pm to 3am.

srsly, who the fuck turns on Youtube at a party

(xxxxpost) saves on buying paper shredders - if you need to destroy a document, simply eat it...

snoball, Wednesday, 18 March 2009 18:28 (fifteen years ago) link

I mean, a small dinner is one thing, but at a PARTY you should be drinking/dancing/making out/puking/passing out/getting molested by your so-called "friend"/galloping towards a tragic death/playing cards/etc

Wes HI DEREson (HI DERE), Wednesday, 18 March 2009 18:29 (fifteen years ago) link

At my old house there was no smoking inside but people often gathered in the mudroom to smoke & exhale toward the open door, this was the room with the computers in it, hence the many nights where the parties devolved into Youtube parties :( I blame my roommate.

yah in my experience its more in a gathering type situation or when the party has dwindled to a gathering size

ice cr?m, Wednesday, 18 March 2009 18:31 (fifteen years ago) link

with the computers in it

So you could play MUDs in the mudroom?

That night I got so unbelievably wasted that I bought booze for teenagers, and handed it over to them outside the shop, right out in the open. One of my dumbest least proud moment!
