all you can say with HS physics is that running and walking in an imaginary world where human bodies have no joints and are infinitely small uses the same energy (although how you'd actually move in this world without friction is another matter).
caek is this the science talk reason why gargamel could never catch the smurfs???? ps the smurfs moved by kinda windmilling their little feet u can see this discussed in peer-reviewed journal youtube.com pretty sure

― I f'd up the word rear (Z S), Wednesday, 18 March 2009 15:56 (fifteen years ago) link
yes lamp. that is pretty much the reason. the smurf's moved using newton's 3rd law in their frictionless world.
also, keeping it positive, i saw this photo just as Jane by Jefferson Star came on and i liked it so i'm posting it here:

Classic! "The Story Of Simon Simopath" and "All Of Us" were both excellent albums! ;)

BEST Nirvana Song
I have to be very unoriginal here and say "Smells Like Teen Spirit". Really, there is something very special about that song, and there was a reason why it singlehandedly brought "alternative" music out into the mainstream.

Nirvana - The original C/D?
I always tend to tell those "In Utero"/"Nevermind" fans that the best two Nirvana albums were called "The Story Of Simon Simopath" and "All Of Us"

LJ, you know I love you and your board contributions and your board persona, so PLEASE don't take this the wrong way. But you should probably stop bumping threads just to yell "I like this!" It kind of goes back to the old journalist credo of "show me don't tell me." You're a smart dude and a very valued poster but i wish you would dig a little deeper into what you're listening to sometimes
examples:
ORTHRELM THREAD
currently 34 minutes in and this is just like wow thank you for making this record - it feels important and noble

it's cool s1ocki, i made a similar post like this to sarahel last year so you gotta take what you dish
...yeah it's true that i'm bumping threads pretty much every time i hear something i like, and then posting not much more than 'this is great!'. in some ways i'm trying to elicit others to discuss the music in expanded terms, but granted i'm not saying much about the music myself.
i'll take this in the right spirit and try to say something valuable about the music i'm bumping in future :)
oh lol

Ned,
the video would simply be every Ja Rule video with Dick Valentine in his place. Valentine re-creating Grease and then leading a bizarre protest march where black people hold up signs with the names of dead rappers and MURDER INC. Valentine and J. Lo just chillin'. Valentine hanging around in some villa off the south of France with Kells, concurring that life is now a pussy buffet.

I am much more sympathetic to someone recording ridiculous anonymous sex fantasies than someone making an album about how much ridiculous contempt you have for a woman you almost married because she couldn't understand that when you fucked around it was harmless anonymous sex (or as you kindly put it, "calling her paranoid"). This doesn't mean that all ridiculous anonymous sex fantasies are equal or even necessarily awesome. I just think I can enjoy David Lee Roth doing cartwheels over life being a pussy buffet and still find Three Days Grace repulsive when they're punching the wall over some jezebel.
