The new Star Tours is awesome. I think it might've honestly been my girlfriend's favorite ride from any of the parks. And I think I read that there's something insane like 50 different movies for the ride now? We rode it 3 or 4 times and it was different every time.

Really?didn't look like him. Biggest concession I have seen to frozen, by the way, has been a giant gift shop and a little play a lot filled with fake snow.

Yeah, I was honestly baffled by the complete dearth of Frozen merchandise at WDW this spring. It felt like the memo about the film's massive success hadn't trickled down to the parks division yet.

They are redoing maelstrom at Epcot into a frozen ride.

I heard about that. Pretty disappointing, honestly. I love the Maelstrom, as lame as it is.

i'm pretty sure the frozen meet and greet at disneyland has the longest line out of either park.

a bit off topic but there were a ton of elsas trick-or-treating on halloween. I complimented one little girl on her elsa costume and she gave me the dirtiest look and said "I'm CINDERELLA!" it's a tough year for other blonde princesses in blue dresses.

yo, when i went on my disney trip earlier this year, the line to meet the frozen princesses at EPCOT was, i was told, six hours long

Hollywood Studios is kind of aimless and reduntant, but it's a nice day anyway.

I'm staying in Wilderness Lodge in December: four nights and four days, including tea party, early morning magic hour, princesses, and pixie dust.

I really want to stay at Ft. Wilderness Lodge for at least part of our next trip. I've been treating the lodging as an incidental (and inexpensive as possible) afterthought but everything feels kinda anticlimactic once the day is over.

I really enjoy these 15 minute live distillations of Disney movies. Beauty and the Beast was sweet, my younger one loved Mermaid.

On the downside they were going to charge us to cancel Brown Derby, so light apps and drinks it is.

Have you seen/are you planning on seeing Fantasmic? I just saw it for the first time this year and I think kids would love it. Or be terrified by it. Or both.

But GO EARLY. And hang on to your kids for dear life. The pre-show waiting area is the most densely-packed crowd I experienced anywhere in the parks.

Toy story game ride was great! Fantasmic tonight.

That's a bummer. My favorite ride in all of the parks, hands down. It was down for a while when we were there, too, so maybe things will turn around.

they have been pretty good getting them up and running again.

Still down. I smartly sat out Kali rapids, and am only dry one.

good move. Make sure to hit the dinosaur dark ride, probably my fav extant dark ride from the last time i was there…which was ages ago

Yeah, Dinosaur is rad. That pseudo-coaster technology they use is amazing and should be more widespread (I think the Indiana Jones ride at Disneyland is similar?).

My older one chickened out at Everest, but the 7 year old was totally game.

They both hated Dinosaur.
