swallowing your own puke

quite difficult if you're doing serious puking, might have to develop some kind of circular puking technique

i posted this important thread because i have done it. not a lot, just a little. sometimes you're in a social situation where puking on the floor or on your shirt is completely unacceptable. i realize that swallowing a bit of your own puke (think about 1.5 - 2.0 ounces tops) is also completely unacceptable to some people. but i have been in situations where it is was the preferable choice. not something you would ever want to do, but the better of two terrible options.

somehow this came up last friday, and everyone in the vehicle expressed disbelief that ANYONE could swallow a bit of their own puke. i refused to believe that it was so unusual, although of course i'm willing to accept that it's not something that most people have ever done, that some people would consider it beyond the pale and i certainly don't recommend it to anyone who has another option. but later in the evening, under a beautiful clear starlit night camping in the adirondacks, someone who was in the vehicle confided to me that they, too, had swallowed their puke in the past. they just didn't want to admit to as much in the car.

and so i assume that there are people reading this who have had swallowed a shot or two but won't admit it. but that's ok. just keep living a lie ya'll, it's ok
