i thought this thread was abt the sometime habit i've witnessed of ppl putting paper towels on pizza to "degrease" them

that an NYC thing?

to clarify, a thing tourists do in NYC?

ive seen people do it all over this world of ours, mostly in boston tho where they have that nasty oily greek pizza

i mean sometimes pizza is too oily

personally i thought maybe it was abt pizzas thatre just the crust w nothin on there

we don't even have pizza that's greasy enough to dap w/ paper in Florida

i knew a girl who would do that with all food items acquired from our university food service, and for all i knew, all food items, anywhere

like for my friends who always mutter something about brown sauce at chinese restaurants and say 'let's just get mexican, i know someplace that's fresh'

yeah, not just "way cool", but "executed with remarkable panache or precision". like in pool, lining up a complex shot and knocking it down effortlessly, like a child could do it. clean pizza.
