I felt the same way about hearing "Am I Wrong" for the first time that I did when I first heard David Guetta's "Love Is Gone," and look how that turned out

is it just me or was "Am I Wrong" not actually played anywhere by anyone until it became a top 10 hit

It rose quickly though. It's played on the radio all the time down here. I don't like it much free of its context as a radio smash.

IIRC, this is kind of why I started this thread? Like, it's just sort of a pleasant-sounding song that nobody really loves or hates.

I'm kind of at the same point of I like it fine on the radio but otherwise have no use for it.

Nico & Vinz' first album (back when they were named Envy) is named The Magic Soup & The Bittersweet Faces but sadly none of the song titles are remotely that colorful

"Counting Stars" is my favorite of those Arcade Fire-inspired ones. Granted, it took hearing it 543,000 times an hour to feel this way.

Every one of those times I've had to go to the bathroom or cut my toenails

can't remember which one i saw him do it at, but yeah, he seemed a little worse for wear

lmao i remember watching him sing it on some show (grammys?) and he would lose his breath before even singing a note

anyway i kinda like "am i wrong," it is a pleasant radio song and i like the way his voice sounds when he sings 'that's just how i feel'

I like the sound of this album. Some of the lyrics are def a bit cringeworthy though.

It's very late eighties, with echoes of Sting, Tom Petty, Bob Marley etc all over the place, but it sounds fresh.

I kind of like how "Waves" is effectively functioning as the second Nico & Vinz single instead of the actual second Nico & Vinz single.
