xpost Bush of Ghosts also my least fave Byrne collaboration. Love AGW like a brother, but never understood why that one gets dramatically singled out above the others.

It is a little baffling. AGW got 5 stars and Warm Jets/Tiger Mt/Science all got 4 in the first RS Record Guide, iirc*, and that judgment has just stuck, but I can't think of any criteria by which AGW is remarkably better than the others.

I didn't have room on my ballot for "China My China," but the instrumental break for massed guitars and typewriters on is still one of my favorite moments on TTM.

"Blank Frank" seems much too low, but I'm a sucker for recontextualizing the Bo Diddley beat.

I passed on both of those, but "China My China" was a late cut. I tried to make room for a wider range of things than I usually do in polls.
