concerned it looks like I read that and 'nicked' was the only thing that leapt out at me, think it's all vile to be clear, especially the 'suck it up and smile for the people who pay you' stuff

i was having a drink & some food at the bar @ a place on u st and the owner/manager started asking me how everything was and so on.. so i said it was good, the vegetables were really good and blablabla.. and he asks if i'm on yelp, and i'm like GOD NO ABSOLUTELY NOT did i say the wrong thing that he even suspected i was a yelper. ugh. was it mentioning being a vegetarian, or just that on u st on the weekends, you might expect to meet a lot of yelpers

i had lunch at a bbq place yesterday & the table we were about to sit at was dirty, so the nice waitress quickly grabbed a cloth & wiped it down for us saying " We just finished our lunch rush. People come in & say 'oh the place is so dirty' - lunch rush is so crazy I wish I could just tell them" & all I could think was 'Goddamn Yeplers"

My wife and I ate lunch here recently. She ordered the Create-your-own-slam, and I the Create-your-own-skillet. We're the DIY type, apparently. Aside from a small hair (perhaps eyebrow?) my wife discovered in her turkey bacon and the noticeable soap/cleaning solution taste in the fountain soda, this visit to Denny's was unextrodinary.

I called the manger back Tanya and asked that she refund my card... as I was over charged and did not get anything I ordered... after going through a interrogation like that of a tea party member with the IRS ... she finally found a bag of missing food that was never brought to the counter and never given to us. She first implied it was my fault for not checking but I pointed out that the bags were tied in double knots and we were told the food would be ready in 10 and when we got there we waited another 20. She offered store credit but I did not want store credit I wanted the money she took from be back because I was over charged for food I did not order or receive..

I think I still have a few Manger Back Tanya 7"s lying around.

Upon arriving, we found that the cashier standing at the counter, Peggy, was completely uncommunicative, absolutely unresponsive and very cold shouldering with a poor attitude when spoken to. I would be have been completely sympathetic if she was busy or engaged with someone else, but there were no other customers or employees at the photo center. After I paid for the one photo, she remained silent so I asked her what happened to saying "Thank you". She said that I was rude and threatened to call security even though I had not said a word to her from the beginning due to her demeanor. If you need to see concrete evidence of the incident, you can examine the surveillance camera and look at her facial expression. I then requested to speak to a manager. When a manager arrived, I explained to her what had happened. With the proximity of Target from where I live and the better customer service I've had there, I will not be returning to Walmart because of the mediocre service I received from Peggy. You just lost a valued customer!

On October 29, 2013 around 4:30-5:00 pm, my wife and I went to a KOHL'S Store located at 418 George Clauss Blvd. Severn, MD 21144. We were returning an item (jacket) from a receipt with around $187.00 worth of purchases. The cashier who was at the counter decided to deduct $10.00 from the refund of the returned item. In other words, instead of handing me around $34.00, which was the original price my wife and I paid, she only gave around $24.00. I questioned her as to why she deducted $10 off the item. She said because we used a discount in another receipt. Mind you, the receipt has no discount on it. I had to find my wife, who was somewhere else in the store. When I found her, I explained to her what had happened and she said that she never used any discount. We went back to the cashier and my wife showed her the discount card that she never used, only to have the cashier become defensive by stating that the discrepancy was not her fault and, instead, blamed the cash register for the error. Upon further notice, the cashier realized that she accidently pressed a button which took $10 off the refund and later admitted that it was indeed her mistake. She called the manager, Marc, who was very apathetic towards the situation. When I spoke to him, he behaved like a dead person and never said a word to me. At first I thought he did not speak English so I asked him if he spoke the language, to which he replied in only a few words. I cannot believe that this man is a store manager; he literally didn't care about customers. He did not even talk or apologize to me and my wife. He was very rude and has no customer service skills.

This bad customer service from this RUDE manager (Marc) will make me take my business elsewhere.

the notion of asking to speak to the manager or bringing the manager in is so hilarious to me, i'm always so embarrassed for the people who feel the need to do that.

i've been such a dick to some credit card customer service reps lately...though a credit card company giving me an extra $6000 in balance that I shouldn't owe & then not really trying to fix the error will do bad things to you!!!

our mortgage co decided our credit was also debit so managed to increase our debt instead of decrease it. They patronisingly tried to "explain the calculations for us" on the phone then realised their mistake halfway through a sentence; almost worth it.

Today, I had a doctor's appointment with Dr. Hsin Yi Amy Tang at 4:45pm and the front desk asked me to come at 4:30 because i was a new patient, to fill paperwork which i was on time at 4:30pm.Then at 5:05pm the nurse called me to the check room, then 5:15pm that rude and unconsiderate Dr. Hsin Yi Amy Tang showed up and she didn't even look at my face she just looked at the moniter screen while i was talking to her she wasn't even smiling she was a cold person unprofessinal i was talking to her about my problems she interupped me she was mean, and she said "I don't have time for this" and i felt she didn't have time for me, as a patient. I don't reccommend this horrible doctor to anyone.Don't go to see this doctor she's a horrible person. This Dr. Hsin Yi Amy Tang has a poor bedside manner. She lacks empathy and compassion and exhibits condescension.

I recently went to a retail establishment that overworks and underpays its employees so drastically that many of them are on food stamps and qualify for Medicaid despite working full time at a job where their every move is videotaped and they are criticized if they do not perform like trained seals. One of these employees, a checker named Samantha, who had been up all night with a sick child and had spent her only break time that shift eating a bag of stale chips from a vending machine acted like a zombie when I asked her to please put every item I purchased into a separate bag and then all those bags into its own bag. She didn't even smile and thank me. I called the manager over to explain her rudeness and he seemed not to upbraid Samantha without much enthusiasm. Consequently, this mega corporation will no longer see me as a customer, as I intend to act like a complete asshole at a different mega corporation's stores from now on. Unless, of course, the first store finds a way to offer me a lower price, by demanding unpaid overtime from its employees or something like that.

I've been coming here since I was born (24 years). The food is great and it is cheap. I always order the waffle fries with cheese for an app and the for myself, a special salad and rigatoni with meatballs.

It is very dated inside and is cash only, but don't let that stop you from coming. The owner Tina still waitress's and is a wonderful lay.

So earlier this afternoon I was having lunch with my mother at a semi-fancy local restaurant. In the middle of our lunch, an older gentleman came by to take a look at my twins (who are 10 months old, and pretty cute if I say so myself). After 5 minutes of polite conversation, this guy proceeded to pull up a chair and sit next to us, exclaiming that his "lunch party was arriving a bit late." I thought it was a little presumptuous for him to think we were dying to continue our polite conversation while our mussels turned cold and inedible, but thought he would get the hint and leave in a couple minutes. But no, this guy parked himself alongside us and continued to talk to us for the duration of our lunch. Not only that, but he was completely arrogant.

Maybe this is just your normal, uber-wealthy, Silicon Valley moneybags chatter, but I found it really rude: he catalogued all of his graduate degrees from various universities (including Stanford, of course), told us the number of his private jets, informed me that his daughter-in-law was a "runway model in Los Angeles" (huh? I thought Fashion Week happened in NYC), mentioned that he won some obscure literary medal, that he had 6 patents pending on various inventions, etc. etc. I was waiting for him to casually inform us that he had also picked up the Nobel Peace prize a couple years ago, but I guess that is the one accomplishment he had yet to add to his collection. I really didn't know what to do; I didn't want to be rude, but I was bored out of my mind and really dying to get back to my lukewarm moules frites.

Oh, one more thing. He was a big-time name dropper and in order to set up another marathon-length name-dropping session, mentioned he liked to read. Again, stupid polite me asked him if he had any book recommendation (what was I thinking)? He then said,

"Excuse me, let me finish please." And looked at me a bit archly.

EXCUSE ME?? He interrupted MY lunch and I couldn't really care less about his stupid book recommendations. I was just trying to be polite, unlike certain other egotistical Cessna-owning titans of industry (who didn't even offer to pay for our lunch after hijacking it).

In the end, the guy hung out with us the entire 30-odd minutes left of our lunch, we didn't finish our moules frites, the babies were cranky, and he did not leave until I asked the waitress for the check, just to escape from this guy and his blatherings on about how great he is.

TAKE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! The greeter was pleasant, the waitress was arrogant in a Eastern European kind of way, and the food - YEEUUCK!! I ordered fried flounder with augratin potatoes - the fish was NOT FRESH and greasy, the potatoes were were Old and Cold, and when I complained the waitress acted like there was something wrong with ME - BTW, my wife's potatoes were just as old and cold - my daughter ordered the Caesar's salad w chicken - she couldn't eat it! To ad insult to injury, they auto-added a tip to my ticket, i guess because we had a party of 6 although one was a baby - and the rate was 18%!!! When I complained they again acted like there was somenting wrong with me - RUN DON'T WALK from this disaster!
