i was supposed to be in an airport but my flight got cancelled while i was on my way, so now i've come back home and i'm hyping myself up for the 11 hour megabus journey i'll be taking in a few hours. lol.

I recommend being unconscious

i'm a seasoned veteran of comically long megabus journeys (longest being something like 13 hours i think), i can survive it as long as i don't have to sit near the toilet.

I once did like 16 or 18 hours from Vegas to Tucson. That was kind of insane.

I was stranded in Birmingham airport two days ago because Atlanta was shut down -- eeek that carpet.

At Heathrow terminal five at 3:25am, having massively underestimated how long it takes to get here by cab. Eerily quiet. Lots of people sleeping on the floor until check in opens in an hour.

A better class of people sleeping on the floor than you get at Stansted or Gatwick though.

The duty free in Sydney airport doesn't have red velvet Tim Tams, wtf

Currently at Borispol airport. A British woman in her sixties is explaining Jewish people to another British woman in her forties who seems to new to the whole concept. Tbf, the one doing the explaining seems to only have a marginally better grasp. Quite how anyone so unworldly managed to end up in Ukraine is a mystery but not one I'm keen to explore further.
