i've been out of commission for a while. here's why:

two weeks ago i finished an eight day run of night shifts (8pm-8am) and basically died from exhaustion and sickness and watnot

last week i got dumped and then undumped and redumped and am now on possibly dumped but ... ehh .. it's complicated and it sucks and WHERE IS MY SPINE status but OMIGOD i like this girl a lot and it is incredibly complicated but ... god, i'm a moony bastard.

this week i am in massachusetts/rhode island at my parents' house in preparation for my sister's saturday wedding. it is cold, still, dark, quiet, antique and very nathaniel hawthorny around here... i haven't been in rural new england during early autumn since 1998, and forgot how lovely evocative and spooky it can be.

remy, your life is complicated. Wow. What is wrong with this girl anyway that she keeps jerking you around? (Then again, why are you going back for more of this treatment...? I'm not judging or whatever; just curious.) I hope you enjoy your sister's wedding, at any rate...

It's very simple, I sit in a windowless room anywhere you like (you pay me I go there) and wait for hours for the people in my office to stop downloading porn and watching youtube football goals long enough for me to download the latest patch to our crummy software which won't work because some third party vendor won't release their API to us because they are behaving like an 11 year old girl and are no longer friends with our local dealer, then I go out side and gaze into the sky/fjord/carpark and wonder what I am doing here.
